Care Resources

Nursing Homes

Sometimes referred to as Skilled Nursing Facilities, this is where round-the-clock care is provided to seniors and those in need. Costs can range from 4000 to 12,000 or more monthly depending upon your area of the country.  Our proprietary technology pulls state and federal assessment data into one concise 7 point overview.  We do this for more than 16,000 nursing home facilities nation wide.

Geriatric Care Managers

A Geriatric Care Manager provides families with a wealth of information and relief when it comes to care.  Certified in many states, they can become the one go-to person to help you navigate the complexities of aging. Some provide transportation, advocacy and often light “care”.   These are NOT the same as In Home Care Companies such as Comfort Keepers or Home Instead, which are franchises.

Faith Based

Some in the elder community prefer Faith-Based facilities which align with and are operated by their specific denomination or religious association. Here we provide a listing of those communities. Please check back often as we continue to list more.

Elder Law Attorneys

Elder Law Attorneys are specialists in the Estate Planning needs of the aging and their families.  They differ from “generic” Estate Planners in that they are often certified by The Veterans Administration in order to meet the needs of Veterans and their widows/widowers.  For those not having served in the armed forces, they specialize in helping protect life savings while addressing the significant costs of long term care. Listen here for more information.

Assisted Living

Assisted living facilities are for those requiring less intensive care than what is provided in a Skilled Nursing Facility.  They often provide day trips, in-house entertainment and extensive social activities.  This directory is growing monthly so be sure to check in often.
